Kristen Craig

Kristen is a proud native New Orleanian and is passionate about helping local nonprofits succeed. She joined the Foundation in August 2018 as the Nonprofit Leadership and Effectiveness Program Associate. In her role, Kristen aids the department’s capacity-building efforts to strengthen the region’s nonprofits. As such, she hosts quarterly workshops about grant prospecting as a Certified Trainer for the Foundation Directory Online by Candid. In addition, if you have participated in GiveNOLA Day, you may recognize Kristen. She is the host of the informational webinars and serves as the main point of contact for nonprofits participating in GiveNOLA Day.

Kristen received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Tulane University in 2010. Prior to joining the Foundation, Kristen was the Administrative Assistant for the New Orleans Early Education Network housed at Agenda for Children for five years. She also worked for Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine as a Program Coordinator in the Department of Epidemiology.
