Fundraising with Individual Donors

This is an advanced workshop. All registrants must have completed a Fundraising 101 workshop in the past.
Presented in conjunction with The Funding Seed, Fundraising with Individual Donors is designed to help participants design a successful individual donor strategy. Participants will learn about the capacities needed to manage an individual donor fundraising program and how to engage board members in fundraising with individuals. Information will also be presented on cultivating donor prospects and donor stewardship. Participants will be asked to complete five donor profiles as a pre-workshop assignment. This workshop is open to executive directors, program and development staff, and board members. We strongly encourage organizational teams comprised of a staff member and a board member participate in the workshop together. In this session, you will learn:
- The steps to building an successful individual donor program
- The typical methods for raising money from individuals
- Practical tools to support your individual donor program
The Fundraising with Individual Donors workshop is on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 from 8:30 am-12:30 pm at the Greater New Orleans located at 1055 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70130. The workshop will be in Suite 120 on the first floor.
This cost for this workshop is $20 per participant for grantees with active, Foundation-issued grants (no donor-advised grants). Greater New Orleans Foundation grantees will have priority for registration. For non-grantees, registration is $25 per participant.
