Many leaders have been working more than ever due to the COVID-19 pandemic, hurricanes, and civil unrest.  Nonprofits have adapted to working remotely, virtually, and socially distanced. However, much of this has been done without attention to our personal time and energy. This session will explore time and energy management practices, and help identify habits that are impeding personal care.

At the end of the session, participants will:

  • Have learned the distinction between time management and energy management.
  • Understand how to sustain the capacity for work and strengthen personal sustainability through practices within the four wellsprings of human energy:
    • Physical health
    • Emotional health
    • Mind and focus
    • Meaning and purpose
  • Have identified strategies for better work-life balance and increased energy.
