The Greater New Orleans Foundation is pleased to offer a Board Governance 101 workshop on  August 6, 2013 from 8:15-noon  at the Greater New Orleans Foundation located at 1055 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70130. The workshop will be in the large conference room on the first floor. Greater New Orleans Foundation grantees will have priority for registration.

This workshop is open to executive directors and board members only. – Top 10 Board Roles and Responsibilities
– Review of the roles and responsibilities of a board member
– Promising practices and trends in board governance
– Tools that support good board governance practice

Registration is required (below, or click here). It is the participant’s responsibility to notify the foundation in the event that their plans change and they are unable to attend the workshop as registered. Please contact Mandi Cambre at  mandi@gnof.org  or 504.598.4663 with any questions.
