Sherina Clavier

Sherina joined the Foundation in October 2019 as the Director of Finance. She is a certified public accountant with over 20 years of experience in auditing and accounting.  Prior to joining the Foundation, Sherina spent nine years as an Audit Manager at Bruno & Tervalon LLP, CPAs, with a heavy emphasis in auditing nonprofit organizations.  As the Director of Finance, Sherina works with the rest of the Finance team to ensure all gifts, grants payables, investments and other financial transactions spread across more than 900 funds are properly accounted for, and to ensure that the Foundation’s audits continue to demonstrate that the Foundation maintains the highest standards for financial integrity.

Sherina is a native of New Orleans and a graduate of Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business with dual degrees in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Spanish. She is also a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans, and previously served as Secretary on the board of the Benjamin Franklin High School Alumni Association.
