Andy Wisdom

Andy has over two decades of experience in portfolio construction, manager selection, and performance tracking across public and private asset classes for institutions, foundations, family offices, ultra-high net worth individuals, and high net worth individuals. Andy has deep operational and venture capital experience as the current Chairman and former CEO of Turbo Squid, Inc., a digital media company he co-founded and launched in April 2000 which successfully raised Series A venture funding from Intel Capital, Eastman Kodak Ventures, and Advantage Capital Partners. Prior to establishing Crescent Capital Consulting, Andy was associated with Equitas Capital Advisors and Battenkill Capital in New Orleans where he supervised activities in institutional consulting and research activities.

A graduate of Bates College and Tulane University School of Law, Mr. Wisdom is an active philanthropist, sitting on numerous nonprofit boards. He serves as chairman of Ochsner Health, the largest non-profit health system in Louisiana. Since 2007 he has served as the chairman of Ochsner Health’s investment committee which oversees the system’s investment portfolio and defined benefit plan with combined assets in excess of $1.5B as of 2020. Andy also serves as a trustee of Tulane University where he chairs the endowment committee overseeing a diverse portfolio of assets with a value of $1.4B as of 2020. Andy is the fifth chairman of the RosaMary Foundation, one of New Orleans’s largest family foundations which was endowed in 1939 by his great-grandfather, Alfred Bird Freeman. He also serves as a trustee and treasurer of the Mary Freeman Wisdom Foundation, which was established in 1986 by his late grandmother, Mary Freeman Wisdom. He has served on the boards of numerous charitable and civic organizations including Lusher Charter School, which he co-founded, the Posse Foundation, College Track New Orleans, Teach For America New Orleans, Youthforce NOLA, and the Lighthouse for the Blind.

Andy and his wife Maria reside in New Orleans with their three children.
