Protecting Our Comunity: GNOF, Mary Freeman Wisdom Foundation Donate 7,000 Personal Protection Equipment to Jefferson Parish
On Friday, May 1, the Greater New Orleans Foundation (GNOF) donated 7,000 Personal Protection Equipment (N95 and Surgical Masks) to Jefferson Parish first responders and service providers working on the frontlines of the pandemic in partnership with the Mary Freeman Wisdom Foundation, a family foundation partnering with GNOF.

In the News: GNOF awards $700,000 in grants to address why racial health disparities exist in Louisiana
With the continuing COVID-19 crisis revealing racial disparities in patient health outcomes across Louisiana, officials are hoping that the efforts of a state task force established by Gov. John Bel Edwards can dovetail with the work of several local New Orleans organizations that will receive grants from the Greater New Orleans Foundation (GNOF).
